2008 LBBC Outdoor Adventure and Boundary Water Canoe Trips

Why Adventure Programming?

Unique, hands-on opportunities for youth to discover God's creation, promote a greater understanding of themselves, and develop lasting relationships with their adventure experiences. Programs introduce youth to a variety of uniquely structured activities which enable them to explore their individual interests and measure their desire for challenge. Groups face wilderness challenges. Instructors transform these challenges into life-changing experiences - lessons in faith - much like Jesus used parables.

Boundary Water Canoe Trip

If your idea of a great week is an adventure in the rugged wilderness, you will want to join one of our BWCA trips. You will spend five days in one of the world's most alluring wilderness areas. Paddle around the rugged cliffs and explore winding rivers. Cool off in a cascading waterfall or test your skills by running the rapids. You may find a moose grazing in a shallow bay or a pine martin staring at you from the trees. In the evening, sit close to your friends next to the fire and listen to the loons and wolves sing to the night. Chose a trip with your goal in mind, whether it is catching a large northern, packing deep into the wilderness, or relaxing and reading a good book next to the lapping waves. We provide transportation from Lake Beauty, canoes, life jackets, food, cooking gear and tents. A full equipment list with arrival and departure times will be mailed to registered participants. We recommend you register early to reserve your spot. (7 participants plus 2 guides). Please note activities when choosing dates.
