FURTHER GOD'S KINGDOM

We at Lake Beauty proclaim Jesus and reflect his love through a high quality Christian camping experience. We do this by hiring and training a competent and dedicated summer staff to build a safe, fun-filled, and Christ-centered environment. Coming alongside campers of all ages through relationship-driven programs, we share God’s redemptive story not only by what we say, but by what we do.

If you are ambitious about sharing your Christian walk and are committed to making a lasting impact on youth and families, apply here.

Why work at Lake Beauty Bible Camp this summer?

Hear about it from previous summer staff!

  • Where is Lake Beauty Bible Camp located?
LBBC is located roughly 2 hours northwest of the Twin Cities, putting us right in the heart of the state of Minnesota and lake country. Closer cities include Little Falls (20 minutes), St. Cloud (60 minutes), and Baxter (45 minutes).
  • Is there an age requirement?
Applicants who will be 17 during the summer may apply for the following positions: activities team, housekeeping team, kitchen team, ropes team, and lifeguard.
  • What are the dates of employment?
The 2025 camping season extends from Tuesday, May 27th through Friday, August 8th. Built-in days off will be determined before summer begins. Additional training is required for some positions and will be discussed during the hiring process.
  • How much will I make?
Our summer staff make between $1900 and $2500 per summer depending on previous summers served at Lake Beauty and the level of responsibility for their job position.
  • Will I be able to use technology during the summer?
Summer staff are free to use technology on days off and while on breaks during summer programs. They are not permitted to have electronic devices on their persons while working. We do have Wi-Fi available, but it is not always the most reliable (we are a camp, after all!)
  • What should I pack?
After you have accepted an offer of employment, we will send you a list of everything you should bring to camp, along with a lot of other details to prepare you for the summer!
  • What denomination is LBBC a part of?
LBBC is a ministry of the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC) and is owned by over 60 churches within the Northwest Conference of the ECC, though we have campers from many Christian traditions (or none at all). Our campers come from southern and central MN, western WI, and eastern SD. We even have a handful of churches in ND and IA!
  • Can I get additional time off?
Additional days off may be permitted depending on the timing and length of the period requested. These dates should be discussed with our team during the interview process. Please also note that days off do affect total compensation received.
  • When is the deadline to apply?
There is no deadline to apply, as we continue to hire until all of our positions are filled. Some positions are filled quickly, so be sure to apply early if you want to be considered for your position(s) of choice.
  • Can I count a summer position as an internship?
We have had previous summer staff use their experience as an internship. We would be happy to talk with you to see if any of our positions would fulfill the requirements of the internship for which you are looking.
  • Are room and board provided?
Summer staff are provided housing, food, and laundry facilities during their time of employment. Linens, laundry supplies, etc. are not provided by LBBC and food options are limited when camp is not in session.
